Summer 2011
New Custom Lots in 2011 - Mountain Views saw many improvements over the summer! Here are a few of the new custom lots that were completed!
Balloon Festival Comes to Creede!
Labor Day weekend kicked off in Creede with the first annual Balloon Festival, held by Creede Mining Heritage (proceeds benefit the restoration of the historic Sunnyside Chapel). Spectators and passengers gathered each morning for three days to participate in the launching of 9 balloons! Tailgate parties and evening "balloon glow" events rounded out the festival.
Organizers are excited by the success, and have scheduled the 2012 event to again take place over Labor Day Weekend. They expect the number of balloons to double! (And Mountain Views plans to sponsor several of these!)
